About Spider!
Meet Spider, the 1.5 year old German Shepherd that has stolen my heart! He's a special pup, getting his own spotlight out of my trio because he's gearing up to join our tail-wagging adventures when your pooch needs a friend!
Once a shutdown, fearful dog who only knew neglect, he has turned into a confident social butterfly (and an overachiever on the trails!) Spider's transformation into the perfect canine companion is a tale of relationship based training and tons of love. Now, he's the go-to guy for dogs itching to unleash their inner zoomies! With his boundless energy and zest for fun, Spider's presence promises a high-energy, tail-chasing extravaganza during our adventures. He might look forever young, but this pup's got the wisdom and heart of a seasoned adventurer!
About me!
Hey there, I'm Mystery (I’ve heard all of the puns)– the founder of Adventure Hounds, your go-to gal for all things dog! I've completed the Certifcate II in Animal Care at the RSPCA, focusing greatly on canine welfare, first aid, and body language! Currently, I'm soaking up the wisdom of the legendary Steve Austin via the DTBC accreditation (dog training and behaviour course), in order to elevate my skillset in order to help your pooch in every which way! I also have experience training companion dogs professionally and rehabilitating fosters! But hey, it's not all about the fur and fuzz – I'm also adventuring into the academic arena with a genetics and biochemistry degree at UNSW, all while planning to dive into the wonderful world of veterinary medicine.
Back to dogs.. I've got my own furry trio! (Give or take a foster here and there). Though, these days, only Spider is young and agile enough to join the pack!
